Principal Clarinetist of Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra

Multi-genre Musician, Saxophonist

“Lukáš Dittrich and the orchestra were good partners, in terms of the chamber character of the composition, conductor Marek Šedivý also supported communication between the soloist and the ensemble. I enjoyed the soloist in the long, quieter phrases he modeled perfectly in the more pensive second and fourth parts. All in all, his conception of dances (W. Lutoslawski’s Dance Preludes) was very sophisticated, accurate in intonation and truly in-depth.”

“Completely original, funny and professional in all respects was the choreography of Tereza Szentpéteryová – Podle Tebe. In complete agreement, the dancer Zdeněk Mládek and the principal clarinetist of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra Lukáš Dittrich performed on the stage. The experience of their performance was extraordinary. The young musician played memorized directly on stage pieces of G. Gershwin, C.M. von Weber, B. Smetana, P. Skoumal, Ch. Corea and his own compositions. Zdeněk Mládek responded greatly to musical sequences, music to his movements – sometimes as if the dancer was directly controlled by the clarinetist and could not get out of the tones. This wonderful synchronization of both of them was also greatly stage directed, both men seemingly relaxed, immediately, in their world and yet with the audience.”
